Script Repositories?
I figured this is the best place to post this. I remember working with PHP and some other languages that script repositories were available online all over the place. I have not yet found any good repositories for BASH and was wondering if anyone knew of any. These were the sites where you could search for code already written by someone else and contribute the ones that you created. I'm asking because I've been asked to create a dumb ping script that I know how to do but just don't want to and was hoping there was a place I could get some source to work on as a framework quickly as opposed to writing it all from scratch.

Been to github a few times, was opening this thread to see if anyone knows of a site that I don't. Thanks for the suggestion though, I'm sure it will benefit someone who has not heard of it.

A resource that can be used for learning bash is linux-shell-base. It provides solutions to low-level shell scripting problems in Linux.
