Scribus 1.3.5svn Copy/Paste problem

I am running Scribus 1.3.5svn on Mandriva 2009.1 and have encountered a problem with the copy/paste function.
When I copy a text frame with formatted text and then paste the frame into another location, the style information is not carried over.
Has anyone else come across this? Perhaps there is a workaround?
The older version of Scribus (1.3.12) did not behave this way.
