Screen Tearing

Installed Leap 42.2 (KDE) on Toshiba Satelite C655D, with Radeon HD 6310 graphic card. Linux kernel list that I am running the Radeon driver. My screen tears. Any fixes?

I have tried logging in the different plasmas environments and change screen resolution with no success.

Thank you

Try changing your compositor from OpenGL 3.1 to 2 and/or switching from "Crisp" to "Smooth" in KDE Configure Desktop->Display and Monitor->Compositor

Thank you TBOne

I was too impatient. I reinstalled OpenSUSE with Gnome. That solved the problem.

No need to reinstall..you could have just used Gnome. The tearing problem occurs with the plasma desktop only.
