Screen Shifted to the left

Seems to be a common problem. Problem I am running into is I can not find support for desktops with the NVIDIA Vanta 16 MB AGP Graphics Controller.

Using Ubuntu 11.04.

Unity does not work on my old desktop which is probably part of the problem.

It would help to know what make/model computer/monitor and how shifted the display is.

For instance, is this a laptop or a desktop?

Most desktop monitors have menu controls that can adjust display position, size, keystoning, and the like.
