Screen saver logged in as root?

Running RH 7.1 - logging into Gnome. I have two accounts set up besides root. I have used Control center to enable a screen saver on each account, including root.

The screen saver comes on fine in both the non-root accounts, but never when I am logged on as root. Anybody have any ideas why? Thanx

actually I don't know why this happened but try to set the screensaver for the linux when you are root!!
Give it a try and tell me

Thanx for the suggestion, faragello; unfortunately, I do not understand. I HAVE set the screen saver while being logged in as root. I have done this exactly the same way as I have set it while being logged in as the other users. The screen saver comes on for the other users, but it does not work as root.

Please let me know if you were suggesting I screensaver some other way. Thanx again.
