Unhappy screen saver in kde 3.3


the screen saver in my kde3.3 doesnt seem to work..........when i lock the screen all it gives is aq blank screen whence i have a set a random screen saver in my desktop settings......what could possibly be the problem......please suggest a solution....

Hi!

I had also the same kind of problem a while ago. I found out that it has to do with your graphics card and OpenGL. My card did not have OpenGL support, so the solution was to use a non-OpenGL screen saver (like Virtual Machine). You cannot add OpenGL to your card. Try a non-OpenGL screen saver and see what happens
