Screen resolution
OK, I use RedHat Linux 7.1 with the KDE...
During the installation of RH, I was asked to enter my screen resolution (so I did , and things work just fine... :D) I was wondering, is there someplace where I can alter the screen resolution (e.g. 800x600)??? Thomas Delrue Thomas_Delrue@hotmail.com |
At a guess I'd try
Code:
xconfigurator HTH Jamie... |
yeah it is Xconfigurator. Don't forget it is a capital X at the beginning. ( I remember the day when I spent an hour as a newbie trying to run xconfigurator instead of Xconfigurator
|
capital
OK,, thanks...
ALso being a newbie, I also spent at least half an hour trying to make 'xconfigurator' work... thanks! Thomas_Delrue@hotmail.com |
Just a Tip, you can always run Setup as well within RedHat 7.1, or you can just use the xf86config to setup X if Xconfigurator doesn't ever work, but never seen that happen.
Yep, Linux is case sensitive people... got to love it. |
