Exclamation screen mode help

when i installed redhat 7.2, i noticed the install cd changed the terminal screen mode (not sure on terminology), but obviously when i run linux post install the screen mode is default. can anyone tell me where/how to can change it?

If it's the resolution you want to change then you need to edit the modes lines in /etc/X11/XF86Config(-4). Scroll down to Section screens, Subsection "Display" and look for "Modes". Change the order so they read the way you want from left to right.
