Screen Border
 
During set up my monitor is completely filled. But during use there is a black frame all around the screen. 17" monitor, IBM G70. same , no matter what distro that I use. Tried RH7.1, RH7.2, Mandy 8.0, Mandy 8.1, Redmond.
Is this something that I am stuck with??

and you can't change the vertical and horizontal stretch settings on the monitor to stretch the screen ??

Well paint my ass red and call me Bill's bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I figured that it would screw up my winders screen. It didn't. Winblows will make you dumb. Sorry to be so STOOOOOPID!!!!!!!!!!!
