scrambled screen


I have loaded Linux Mint 19.3 onto a HP Pavilion DV6700 AMD64 Laptop. after entering "install Linux" screen the laptop booted, but the screen is mostly unreadable, is there a driver for this and how do I install,..
USB stick?

you didnt provide enough information.
do you see any text at ur monitor? what does it say?

can you take a screenshot of your monitor?
