my scanner scan image dark and very bad Quality Please Help...

Please advise you on how to provide the information you want through the terminal...

then please show us the image scanned with linux.
and which application are you using?
it might be interesting to start it from the terminal, then scan something, then post the terminal output.

i am no expert at all with scanners/printers, but i can look at it.

Does it matter which OS scans it? AKA same issues under windows. Then it's probably hardware related, like that light which allows it to see in the dark (lid closed). Although that image looks pretty good, just some post processing. Like running it through aaphoto. Or in gimp using level or curves to make it brighter.
