SB4100 USB in Mandrake 10.0

Hey everyone, I just got another hd and got Mandrake 10.0 on it last night. I'm also running XP Pro off the other hd. Sooo heres where i'm at...

I'm getting internet throught the USB and using my NIC card to my xbox's... so i'm going to want my USB as my default internet and sharing that connection to my NIC card.

Mandrake looks at my NIC card for internet, and doesnt show the USB and as connection. Under hardware, it shows the USB Cable Modem, however it doesnt show it under internet connections. Do i need a driver? My modem is a Motorola Surfboard SB4100.

I've used linux a total of 1 hour... so please step by step instructions would be awesome. Thanks for getting me farmiliar in the world of linux!

I think you'd be better off using a router. This is not a reason to not use Linux, just simply one of, and probably its biggest, fallback. Linux is not yet big enough to force all makers of all hardware to produce drivers for it. You would most likely be better off using a router and configuring a network.
