Talking Saved kernel configs under different names?


I was just curious as to how to do this.

I assume that .config is the file that gets read when you make dep and make bzImage. But, I saved mine as good. How do I tell make dep and make bzImage to look at good when it makes my kernel, and not .config ?

I'm assuming im in /usr/src/linux for all of this.

Thanks in advance.

Go in to your config tool (I used menu config) and select Load an Alternate Configuration File
