Sata Hdd Problem
 

Hai Friends

I am try to install rhel4 in my sata hdd. but it shows no drivers found.
so where i wil get that sata driver for linux
I am using centos 4 also. i install centos 5 it wil work but i having one software that work only in rhel4. so pls tel me some solutions

Either you want to download the sata drivers for rehel4 or try the newer version rhel5. rhel4 does not have drivers for sata.

RHEL had big time issues being installed on SATA ... at least I was unable to install it ... so I gave up . Worked on Fedora releases and Debian stuff for a while .

Soon after had opportunity to work on RHEL which worked pretty much ok with SATA :)

I will keep a eyen on this thread if there was some kinda tweak to get it working ;)
