SATA hard disk driver


i want to install linux EL4 version on my system.

During installation an error will occuri.e no hard drive found

plz help me

you may have to get the latest release (el4.6) iso. I had to do that for an IBM system. Or you could add the driver during the install process

Rhel 4 Default have the driver for Sata. i think u r have some problem in detecting hdd while installing.
