hey all -

Im trying to use lilo to setup my SATA hard drive with windows XP on it. (I have linux installed on another drive). The problem is that i dont know how to figure out which device it is (/dev/hd?)

anybody know how to find this out?

try /dev/hda?

I'm running Slackware 9.1 with Lilo 5.2...something I think..... I'm pretty much a newb at all of this, but I have SATA too, which gave me alot of trouble. On mine, Win was already installed first, so it is hd0 I believe (maybe hd1).

if windows was installed first windows is probably (hd0,0), and linux would be on (hd0,1)
