Sample Multiple Distros on 1 CD
 

I was reading the threads on which is the best distribution is the best distro to start out with when you are a newbie. There, as we all know, are multiple distributions, and it is a real pain to try and install all of them and try them out. Here is my thought.

It would be really nice if you could see, feel, and use a distribution of different types, just to play with it a little. Not to run it as a full-fledged system. Just try it out, see what it is like. The differences between vi and emacs, and other programs that are used for all distros could be used for different distros.

So, here is my question:

Is there something out there that anyone knows about that is a package that contains multiple distributions of Linux so that newbies can try them out, play with them. Even if it's on a DVD, and something that you can just plop in to play with a little bit would be helpful.

If there isn't, can we start a project like this?

How hard would it be?

Some distros come as live CDs so that's already a step (no need to install). Further some magazines provide dvds that contain the install for one and a live version of another one (lxf had a slackware 10.2 install and dynabolic live on one dvd).

So the ingredients are there as far as I can see.
