SAMBA SERVER On UBUNTU 7.04 & Windows Client

I have installed and configured samba to run on UBUNTU 7.04 in compatibility with two clients (WinXP, VISTA business). The issue is that i have my own application residing on these three computers, where the databases are located only on the UBUNTU while the application is running on XP and VISTA and both are sharing the database successfully. What is happening is the following:when the first client starts the application everything is fine untill the second client starts up, the performance decrease sharply and the clients must wait around 4-6 seconds to finish their work...As a summary, something like sharing violation delay is happening, but i am not knowing which global parameter or share parameter is responsible for this issue..... can someone help me cause it's urgent.

Thanks in advance....
