Ok, here's the thing:
I've setted up my samba server as explained @ http://www.reallylinux.com/docs/sambaserver.shtml , i can access it trough my windows network but i dont seem to be able to get in on any folder that i've shared except the default printers and faxes. i cant even get in on default (home) folder for the user im logging with, i've disabled the firewall temporarily to make sure that it would not be an issue. I just keep getting "not accessible. u may not have perminission to access this network resource bla bla bla".
Did you use the basic Samba setup mentioned on the webpage you indicated?
If you didn't, please post the config you used and/or the changes you've made to the default settings indicated on the linked page.
Can you take a look at the log files on the Linux system? They're located in /var/log, maybe in a subdirectory called /var/log/samba or something like that.
Are you sure you can reach the Linux machine for faxing/printing via Samba?
Can you verify your share configuration and user configuration via SWAT (Samba's web interface)?
Can you verify that the Samba server is running?
Besides the firewall, have you got any other security measures in place (like PAM, tcpwrappers, etc)?
2. i get "smb/service.c:make_connection_snum(615) '/home/Samba/' does not exist or is not a directory when connecting to [Samba]" on User.log file - folder exists, and linux associated user (associated with samba user) has full permissions on it.
3. i hav no way of verifying that ... :/
4. i hav no idea what it is, i googled for it and found only some hard toturials on how to put it to work trough .conf files and so, but it apparently didn't work. is there any 'easy' way of putting it to work?
5. yep, up and running, or else wouldnt require user and pwd in windows to access it, no?.
6. i dont think so, i havent turned anything on yet, only if it comes default.
7. Fedora c4 & WinXP
