samba server configuration issue


hi all, i have tried to configure samba server.my case is ,i have created one user in samba server.now i want to access home folder of user(which created in samba server) from samba client.

when i enter command as below,

#smbclient //192.168.200.4/charan -U charan

and entered password.

smb: \> ls

NT _STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED listing \*

showing above error. i am unable to list-out. even i am unable to mount this also.

i am using CENTOS 7


please help

What version of Samba are you using, how have you configured Samba, and what kind of machine are you using to log in to that Samba server with? Assuming Linux, but you don't say what version/distro is on that box, or what version of smbclient you're using. Also, what are the permissions on the directory you're trying to access??

Could be any one of a number of things...which tutorials did you follow to install/configure Samba?
