Samba Permissions

I just setup samba on my Slackware server and I can access it with my Windows machine but for some reason I only have read access even though in smb.conf share definitions I have "writeable = yes". I noticed in the [global] section there is "security = user", does that have anything to do with it?

Thanks

Make sure that the directory access permissions are set correctly. The smb.conf file gives you access to the share but the Linux file permissions are still applicable. Take a look at that and repost.
