Thumbs down Samba Ding Dong


yo it's me again.

need some help to set up a samba server so my gilrlfriend can access my files on a local network

Samba works, as her win xp OS sees the share, it just won't let her in.

Check the permissions then, on samba and the share files/folders.

did you run smbpasswd -a userid?
