samba as first boot problem
Sir how can i make samba start automatically during startup so i would not manually type the service command at all. thank you very much... im using mandriva 2007

In the distro i use samba is running as a service. With command "chkconfig samba on" samba can be configured to start automatically when the system starts.

You can also add it like
chkconfig --add samba |
