Salvaging an Am386 Box

Hey guys....I'm in a predicament

I found this old PC at home and I experimented and tinkired with the thing. I opened it to see if it still has any hope. Can any of you guys tell how to make this old thing work better, with linux of course.

I kinda hoping to use it for some productivity apps, and internet.

It has a:

AMD Am386 processor
Not sure about the RAM, but it has 8 slots, 4 are used
90 Gb hard drive.....I fomatted it with MadBoot.....FAT16 I think
1.44 disk drive, and the 5 inch one too, I gremoved the 1.44...transfered it to my other box
old keyboard and an old mouse with a red light instead of a ball.

Ant comments, anyone???
