Unhappy Sagem fast 800 and Slackware 11

I recently installed slackware 11 on my pc and I wanted to use sagem fast 800 to connect to the Internet. I followed the instructions I found in the cd that came with the modem but when it tried to make it operational, the ADSL led lights three times and then it goes out. After a few seconds I get on the terminal screen the word 'error'. Can anybody help me? Thanks for your time and sorry for my bad english.

Use the Search tool at the top of the screen, type in 'Sagem fast 800' in the search in the forum box.
You will find many threads on this subject.
If something stays unclear or doesn't work, post again.

But I can already say that, depending on the kernel version you use, you have to install the ueagle-atm module or the old eagle-usb driver for this modem.
