Question running suse boot disk for ftp installation

I know, others have asked just the same. BUT I COULDN'T FIND AN ANSWER!

So: I want to install Suse 9.0 on my PC which is currently running on WinXP. I downloaded boot.iso, burnt it on CD-ROM using Roxio 6 and tried to boot the thing. Nothing happens, WinXP starts as normal.
I'm absolutely sure that my CD-drive is bootable, because I tried different bootable CD's, and they worked just fine.

What's the matter? Is there a problem with Roxio?
