Running Script

EDIT: I figured this out. I can create a launcher and tell it whether or not to run in a terminal. I also figured out how to search for the answer properly. Sorry for the useless post.

I have been searching the Internet and these forums, but cannot find the answer. I must not be using the correct search terms because this has to be easy.

I am using Linux Mint 16 and have a script. It runs fine. However, I always have to choose whether to run in the terminal or just run. I would like to know if there is a way to make it run in a terminal or just run without having to choose. I would like to learn both ways so that I will know how to do it in the future.

Not useless. Your solution may help someone else. At Linux Questions, every Linux Answer is valued.

You might want use the "Thread Tools" to mark the thread as SOLVED, though.

On the Desktop, I right clicked and selected create a new launcher. That brings up a box where I selected the script and gave the launcher a name. It also has a check box to let you run it in the terminal if you choose. After saving it, the launcher is on the desktop like a shortcut.
