running out of space

Hi,

Using Redhat version 5.7. I created the root file system too small. other file system such as /var and /usr have so much space. I really don't want to re-install. I put so much time to get this thing working with all different kinds of application. is there any thing I can do to increase the / file system.

Thanks.

The typical method would be to back up, boot from any Linux Live CD, and use the GParted partition editor to resize. (gparted is also downloadable as a stand-alone live CD)
