running microsoft applications in Red Hat Linux 7.2

i have an application which uses Vb as front end and Sql7.0 as backend.i want to run it in RedHat Linux 7.2. is it possible?
if it is possible , then please tell me how in details.please tell me wine version also which i should use.

Is the database on a different machine? Or you want to replicate it on RH box as well? If it is a highly networked environment I suggest using VMWare (it is free for 30 days, and 300 bucks afterwards, but it costs every penny if your demands on running MS applications are superior) as for wine versions I'd opt for wine, or winex from if your demands are in games as well.
My honest opinion would be ... well anyway nobody listens to it, so I'll keep it to myself
