Question running mail server and loging other users in same time

I was wondering if I could have running mail server such Postfix or Dovecot on Slackware 10.1 [and 11 when it comes out] on desktop pc,and at same time alow others to login in their X?

I have cabelmodem>smoothwall fw>ethernet switch>desktop with Slackware 10.1 [and Dell laptop-which I would use also to read emails from desktop pc]

thanks

In terms of several users X-sessions ... that will depend on
your machine's RAM and grunt. Technically speaking there's
no problem on the unix/linux side of things.
There may be issues with your ISP, too, though. Some ISPs
will block port 25 for their clients to prevent spam being
produced from within their IP range.

Cheers,
Tink

The box should have enough grunt for 3 or 4 X-Sessions (if they don't
try to play OpenGL games ;}) quite easily ... as far as comcast goes:
I don't know the policies of any ISP but my own - sorry ;}

Cheers,
Tink
