Running linux after deleting all users...

Dear firends,

I deleted all users in linux red hat fedora project. Next, I logged out but now when I want to enter linux It asks me a username and password (like always) and now I can not log in. How can I log in?

Hi there arinlinux!!!

Welcome to LinuxQuestions.org. You should still be able to login as root. When you are asked for the user name type "root" and the password is the password you've chosen during the installation process.

Remember that it's bad to be playing around as root, so as soon as you can login, create an user with "adduser" command.

Good luck!

Assuming you didn't delete your root user - log in as root and add a user account.

When you say "deleted all users" did you also delete the users set up by the system? By which I mean root, wheel, etc. If so, you may have ended up rendering your system pretty near unusable. Why did you do this.

you should be able to login as root.. IF you are not certain about, create
a user the moment you login.
