running fedora10 on a macbook pro duel core intel machine

wasuuuuppppp. Im interested in putting fedora 10, which I just downloaded, on my macbook pro. intel machine. I was thinking?????? ( that could be bad ) that I could partition my hard drive and install it on there, and when I wanted to run linux, like when I have labs form school ( ITT TECH ) I can do them on my computer. My question is, can I do this????

thanks

Short answer: yes.

Long answer: this is called a dual boot configuration.

Here is an example of fedora 10 installed to an intel-based macbook (not yours).

... the general install instructions are appropriate for you. Chances are someone has done this install (or f9) to your exact machine already, google for it.
