Exclamation running fedora iptables

Hi I am very very new to linux and having a bit of trouble with ip tables having got a script together editing the rc.local file to run my script which it does do and my computer running perfectly the LINUX one that is i decided that as i have two other computers in the house and an adsl connection that i would build a firewall with iptables

so far i have turned ipchains off
using the service ipchains off
turned ip6tables to off
and ran chkconfig iptables --level 345 on

and it seam's to load my tables as far as i can see when it boots
but my problem is that i cant seam to share the network connection to the Internet i cant ping my adsl router from either LAN card eth1 or eth2 even though there is a cable plugged into them and there hubs

eth0 is the card that the router sits on
and has a subnet assinged by the dhcp server built into the router

the other two computers i have both run windows xp with a static ip addres of

so they are on two separate networks and two separate cards
there subnet is

i have set there default gateways to be and

i can ping eth1 from my first computer and eth 2 from my first but i cant ping which is my second computer or which is the router even though i know they are there as

i also cant ping the second computer from my LINUX box even though i can ping everything else nor can i ping the LINUX box from the second computer please has anyone got any idea's the only thing i can think of is they both work on windows WORKGROUPS instead of DOMAINS

if this is the case can anyone help me out please thanks for reading this Post

It would be hard to answer this without knowing your configuration in iptables. For experimentation sake, turn off iptables also, not just ip6tables. Then try pinging everywhere. If you still can't ping, it may not by iptables, but rather hardware.
