Running 12.04, Need to know how to create a live USB from within ubuntu

Hi. I've got 12.04 happily running on my big laptop,
but I've just acquired a netbook I'd like to run the same OS on.
Being a netbook, the only way to do this is via USB.
I also have an older desktop upon which an upgrade attempt from 10.04 failed. I'm going to just try to wipe it and install 12.04 fresh.

Most tutorials I've found assume you're running some other operating system besides the one you're creating the live USB for.
Here this is not the case, and I'm having trouble finding the resourcess I need to make it happen.
I do not have a live CD for 12.04, I've been upgrading using Update Manager.
I'm downloading the 12.04 .ISO file as I write this.

The USB drive is in my machine, it reads it, there's nothing on it, no weird preinstalled anything, My system is 32 bit, and has a good ethernet connection
(I'm using it now).

What I need is reliable instructions for how to Get that .ISO onto the USB drive in such a way that I can install the OS on my two ailing machines.
If there is a way to do the whole thing in Terminal, I would be All About It!

I haven't used Ubuntu in (quite) a while, but usbcreator used to do it all for you. Try reading this.
