Run powerpoint presentation using Wine

Hello,

is there a way to run a MS Powerpoint presentation using Wine ?!

I do not need to edit the presentation, just run the .ppt-file on a Linux environment.

Why not use OpenOffice ? I notice that the slides are very slow, and the effects are malformed in OpenOffice Impress.

So I thought I would give Wine a try. However I'm new to Wine.

Do I need to install Wine completely (yum install wine) ?
Do I then need to install the MS Office Suite using the .exe-file ?

Thanks for the help !

This is only a 30-day trial and I don't like to fill in the form.

Have you tried it in OpenOffice?
