Run out of disk space

Hi,

Please help me. I was not able to fix our computer yet. the OS is linux edubuntu. The problem, it says:

GDM coould not wite a new authorization entry to disk. Possibly out of diskspace. Error: No space left on the device.

If i hit the enter, it will say

Could not start the X server (your graphical environment) due to some internal error. Please contact your system administrator or check your syslog to diagnose. In the meantime this display will be disabled. Please restart GDM when the problem is corrected.

What should i do? Please help me. I know for some it's not necessary but i'm really new to this and i have no one to ask to. thank you.

Please change your thread title to something more descriptive.

Get into a terminal using ctrl-alt-F1 (or possibly F2 or F3). Then enter "df -h" (without the quotes) and post the results here.
