ruby tutorial for newbie

please any one can give me ruby tutorials for newbie.
any link...

i search on net but i have not found any effective tutorial

You might want to learn how UNIX works before you try something like that.

That was not very helpful, was it? If I am not mistaken, one can start learning a language without knowing ANYTHING about Unix.
