thank you for helping me on this, i did the symlink and now it works!!! it takes its fair bit of time to load but heck it is working smooth and fast, hte sound sometimes skips and sometimes it is alright any idea if there is any tweak and that could fix this ?
i love this kind of games any idea where i could get binaries for this games ?
I know that loki used to do them but they have closed.

I've got RTCW Quake3A and UT installed, q3a and ut can be installed on linux if you have the windows cd by running the latest linux point release with the cd mounted.
