rsync problem
two partition are equal in size and when the files from original partition was copied to others with command rsync -avgzol the destination files shows more used bytes than the original when seen through df command why ?

possibly because -a doesn't preserve hardlinks.

The df command shows disk free space i.e. file system size, not file sizes. Better try du instead of df to check exact file size.

~$ du -sk <filename>

Some filesystems (ext4, for example) save files on sectors that are completely used still when the file inside does not fills it up. For example, if you have a 4Kb sector sized filesystem, all files smaller than 4Kb, use 4Kb each. If both filesystems have different sector sizes, the used space will be different, and much different if there are lots of files. du and df have the same problem about this issue.
