Rpm Reinstall software
 

Hi all

I have a problem and I hope someone can help me.
I have installed kerio mail server.
Now I replaced a file and now it wont work.
So I used rpm –e to uninstalled the program but I think something went wrong because now when I tried to install the rpm file again it told me that the program was already installed on the computer.
And now when I try to remove the installation it tells me that the rpm is already installed.
What can I do so it will install the rpm again?

Hello,

You can try the RedHat install packager to remove/reinstall the rpm.
If it does not work, you can try to remove manually the installed files or install a new version.

Sometimes remove/reinstall problems occurs when a dependency is active with one of the soft.
