rpm list how to

i am using mandrake 10.0

i have view the rpm pkg that are not installed yet.

i can view go to mandrake control centre.

but i have view in command mode.

i can view installed pkg using #rpm -qa

but i have to view pkg list that are not installed yet because i have to installl that.

I had to read this thread like 2 times to get a feeling of what you are asking. So, you want to view packages that are not installed on this linux machine? It's the same as asking "I want Windows to print out a list of programs that are not installed". There are thousands of packages out there, it's not going to know every single package and let you know what's installed and not installed. Do a 'rpm -qa' to see a list of what packages are installed and if you don't have it, then install it.
