RPM installation files

Okay,

I searched this on Google and this site and I haven't found anything for this question...don't laugh k?

After installing an application is there any reason I can't trash my RPM installation file or is the new application still dependant on this file. (I'm guessing not but I'm trying to play it safe 'cause I just got everything running beautifully).

You can delete it if you want to. I would put it somewhere out of the way and keep it. You may need it someday.

I can't spell or type. I proofread and use the dictionary a lot, I mean a lot.
