RPM Help

I have a simple question, When I install a RPM package, how do I find out where the executable is installed? I have installed a few things, but I do not know where they were installed.

Thanks in advance.

Normally, the program will be started with it's name - e.g. mplayer. Try
 whereis <programname>
find <programname>
locate (or slocate) <programname>

When you install an RPM it will install the files to the directorys it requires, I dont think theres a log file of where all the files go, i could be wrong but i havent found that option,

You can qurrey the RPM database to see which rpms are installed (rpm -a) or you can un-install the rpm with (rpm -e package-name) you can also verify every installed package on you system (rpm -Va)

The program you install should run from the terminal, "#mplayer" just type the name of the package and your off,
