RPM's not completly installed?

I've been trying for days to get a copy of mplayer working after finally get all the files the mplayer says I need, some appear like they didn't install. I was told to install them all at once and to use the upgrade command even if I didn't have a ver already and got something like.

rpm -Uvh mplayer-common-(ver)rpm mplayer(ver).rpm mplayer-gui-(ver).rpm mplayer-skin-(ver).rpm
(sick of typing the #'s after all these days)
ver is 0.90-1
and got

1.mplayer-common ############################ [100%]
2.mplayer #################################### [25%]
3.mplayer-gui ##################################[75%]
4.mplayer-skin ################################[100%]

does theat mean # 2,3 aren't completly installed?

is there a better player I could go with? or am I just completely screwing this up.

That is what that means, yes. Try installing those 2 seperately, on their own line(s).

Is there a better way to go? Sure is, the source is the best way to get mplayer, hands down. More customizable, performs better on faster architecture, has alot more in it, and much more...

Cool
