Root is filling up.

Hello
I have a problem in my webmin/Apache Webserver.

My root/ is running on 97%, it went up after I deleted some files via Filezila. I have read that it might be some processes that are still running. I made a lsof command, but i can't figure out how to fix it.

I found a logfile "kern.log.4.gz" with a size on 15mb

Can someone please help me.

It would help if you mentioned which Linux distribution you are running on your web server.

Run the following command and post the output;

Code:
du / -xh | sort -hr | head -n 15
(run the above command as root)

This should tell us which folders are consuming the most space.
Use CODE tags when you post the output of the above command.

As it seems you don't have a separate /home partition. /home is on the same partition as /. To me it is pretty obvious what is taking up so much space.
