root access to Xmanager

I am using RHEL 5, and I have configured VNCServer & XManager. I can access through XMnanager using any username but not root. how can I grant permission to root ?

Very, very sorry... Posted a lengthy reply to the wrong thread...

Now that I've posted, I may as well ask whether you get any error messages when you try to run it as root from a terminal

How to enable root login on RHEL 5

1.In X windowns execute "system"-"administration"-"login screen".

2. On the remote panel choose "same as local".
if you want root user login system then go to the security panel choose "allow remote system administrator login"

3.restart system. done!
