snakeyes2709, do you have it as module or compiled in the kernel? My guess is that it's in the kernel. If it's that way, you need to compile a new kernel (frozenbyte's post above). If you're compiling kernel for the first time it's also a good idea to read HOWTOs and be very careful.

Question About rivafb

Hey, thank you for helping. Well I just really don't now if it's in the kernel. I tried the "lsmod" and there's no "rivafb" in the modules.. and "rmmod rivafb" doesn't work either. How can I now if it's in the kernel? Thanks

If the driver works and lsmod doesn't show you, it's in the kernel.
