Rinetd and ssl sertificate problem

Greetings

Has anyone ever experienced similar problem? I tried to read forums and even googled this but no vain.

I have rinetd installed and working. I have computers in two different networks and another network can not connect to internet so in order to get them to see external https - site I have to forward traffic trough rinetd via gateway machine.

0.0.0.0 4430 remote.computer.com https

This works fine but for some reason I get ssl_bad_cert_domain - error. I could of course just ignore it and put exception but is there any other way to deal with this problem.

SSL certificates are almost always signed by domain. Have you added the domain name mentioned in the cert to the client system's hosts file yet? If the client system believes your gateway to be the https server, it will probably accept the cert.

You're scenario isn't terribly clear. Do you control the https server? Do you control the network? What have you been tasked with?
