rhythmbox 0.5.4 doesn't play mp3s - ?location of codecs?

How do I download mp3 codecs for rhythmbox 0.5.4?

I've fired Fedora 2.4 up, and mounted some ntfs drives for read access and tried to play some music in the background - however each time I try, rhythmbox refuses to load any mp3s up for play.

For one, upgrade to the latest version of Rhythmbox. Try that and then if that doesn't work we'll go for something else.
