RHEL9 installation on HCL computer with Inter C2D E7300 @2.66 GHz

Hey There !
I tried to install RHEL9 from the image (.iso) cd (1st of 3). After asking for the languages and keyboard types, it says Select Driver. On clicking this it pops up a list of drivers. I tried with all the options, but with no result. Earlier I installed this version of Linux on HP pentium 4, and the installation was smooth.
I appreciate any solution to this issue. Thanks.

Hi, welcome to LQ!

Try to get a version of Linux that hasn't been out
of service for donkeys years.

Chances to get this thing to fly on recent hardware
are pretty much zip - just like you wouldn't (couldn't)
install win95 on it.

Support for RH9 was dropped years ago(2003?), there have been no official updates since that time.

You might want to look at Centos. Centos is RHEL(Red Hat Enterprise Linux, RHEL restarted the count after the straight RH line), with the logos removed. It is free to download/update(unlike RHEL) and has a five year (plus) support life. RHEL/Centos is currently on version 5.3 (essentially RH 14).
